Sage Creek Walk for Wishes 2016

“The ability to read is empowering!”

Sage Creek is partnering with Books for a Better World to provide children’s books to rural schools in need throughout Central America.  Our students will help eliminate literacy and empower children!

Every day this week, Sage Creek students will “donate” their recess and walk laps, in hopes that their families and friends will donate $5 or more to this cause.  That’s a $1 for every day they spend walking laps!  Any donation will be appreciated!

Sage Creek has donated over 5,000 books to date!  Let’s donate thousands more!

Walmart employees partner with the school by labeling and donating water bottles to each student and walking laps. Professor Brad Wilcox was our keynote speaker to kick off the fundraiser and donated $200 at the assembly. PTA officers have helped with advertisement.

A BIG CLIFFORD thank you to all of them.
