Submitted by diana.guinn on

Nebo School District's recent "snow day" provided 4th grade students in Mrs. Robbin's class to continue their Christmas spirit right in to the new year. Students wrote and performed the play, "How Hairbrush Saved Christmas" for parents and other school students for several days after coming back after Christmas break. This delightful activity incorporated state core objectives in both the language arts and fine arts areas, and the kids had a blast doing it.! Great job students!!

Ring out the bells . . . The Bell Choir at Sage Creek Elementary performed on December 16th for an audience of peers, teachers, friends, and family. Conducted by our very own Janeen Stone - who herself is a member of the Tabernacle Bell Choir, 5th grade teacher, both the beginning and advanced choirs shared many of our favorite holiday tunes. We enjoyed a sing along to ‘Up On the House Top’, as well as the very appropriate ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Carol of the Bells’. Thank you to our choir for sharing their amazing talents this holiday season!

Under the direction of teachers, Michelle Porter, Dayna Tanner and Cami Thomas students learned about the first Thanksgiving by acting out the feast itself. Special thanks to the many room mothers who volunteered their time and feastables for the activity. Happy Thanksgiving from Sage Creek Kinder students!
