Fourth Grade Frogs

Submitted by diana.guinn on

Frog jumping races were the item of the day in Mrs. Robbins fourth grade class this week.  Incorporating art  and science into their math lesson, students folded their own frogs, then took turns jumping and measuring how far they could jump.  In small groups they worked together to fin\d the average jumping distance then graphed their findings.  Measurement is an important part of the fourth grade math core.  Who knew paper frogs could be teachers too!
