Mother Goose

Mrs. Beesley’s first grade class at Sage Creek Elementary held their yearly Mother Goose Poetry Day. Every year Mrs. Beesley has all the children in her first grade dress up and recite a Mother Goose Poem. The children came dressed up as characters like Little Miss Muffet, Old King Cole, Hey Diddle Diddle, Humpty Dumpty etc.

The day started off with a class parade going to other classes where those children would try to guess which Mother Goose character everyone was. Following the parade all the children took their turns standing up in front of the class to recite their poem by memory. Later that day each child was asked to write and illustrate their poem.

The children all did an incredible job, and Mrs. Beesley led the class as beloved Mother Goose. Mrs. Beesley is an amazing teacher who encourages every child to do their best and gives them the opportunity to achieve a fun and exciting challenge. The children had a memorable time taking part in their Mother Goose Day.
