The students in Mrs. Robbins fourth grade class at Sage Creek Elementary were treated to a special visit from their Principal, Ms. Call, last week. She read them two of her favorite stories and also brought her chair to share with them. The students have been studying about place value in math as part of the state core curriculum. Preschool chairs were used to represent the "ones" place value, and kindergarten chairs represented the "tens" place value. Different size chairs were used to show the place value spots of hundreds, thousands, ten thousands and hundred thousands. Ms. Call's chair was equal to the place value of one million. We all agree that she is a one in miliion fantastic principal! We are so glad to have her as our principal!
