Sage Creek Does Fantastic at District Keyboarding Competition

Attributions:

Several hundred 4th and 5th gr students throughout the district participated in the annual keyboarding competition testing students' speed, accuracy, and efficiency on a keyboard.  Sage Creek students performed very well!  Four of the top 15 overall were Sage Creek students - Riley Bard, Natalie Florence, Vanessa Walpole, and Easton McDonald.  Also, the 2nd place overall in 5th gr was claimed by Sage Creek's Matthew Hansen.  To give you perspective, the top kids overall were typing upwards of 100 words per minute with less than 5 errors.  WOW!

Orchestra Performance

Our early-morning orchestra students gave an outstanding performance last week at the Maple Mountain High School Monster Concert.  The students have one more concert left on May 4 at 2:15 and 5:30 pm.

Sage Creek students are earning money to help local refugee families with basic needs. After the first week of a penny war over $1500 dollars has been earned. We hope the small donations show that when we work together big things can happen. Tuesday will be the last day to bring donations.
