Students in Mrs. Robbin's fourth grade class at Sage Creek Elementary School participated in The Human Race as they wheeled Principal Natalie Call back to the office in her "biggest" chair. Combining a math and reading lesson Mrs. Robbin's used the different size chairs of individuals throughout the building to represent place value, while Ms. Call read to the students about the value of their "place" at school, in the community and within the world.
