Ho Ho Ho . . . After learning the how to play orchestral instruments and coming to early morning practice twice a week since September, our own Sage Creek Elementary 6th Grade Orchestra, dressed in their very best Santa attire, gave their premier performance for students and faculty, as well as an evening show for family and friends, on December 14th. Their conductor, Ms. Biggler, led the musicians in a variety of tunes including 'Hanukkah' and 'Silent Night'. This brand new orchestra showcased our talented students playing violins, violas, and cellos. Thank you musicians, Ms. Biggler, and Mrs. Stoddard . . . You truly inspired us!

Sage Creek Bell Choir Performs

Ring out the bells . . . The Bell Choir at Sage Creek Elementary performed on December 16th for an audience of peers, teachers, friends, and family. Conducted by our very own Janeen Stone - who herself is a member of the Tabernacle Bell Choir, 5th grade teacher, both the beginning and advanced choirs shared many of our favorite holiday tunes. We enjoyed a sing along to ‘Up On the House Top’, as well as the very appropriate ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Carol of the Bells’. Thank you to our choir for sharing their amazing talents this holiday season!

This year, Mrs. Trevenen's first grade class performed the annual Sage Creek Library Christmas play. The play was based on the book "Who'll Pull Santa's Sleigh Tonight?" by Laura Rader.  The students had a fun time dressing up as the elves and reindeer in the story.  Thanks to Mrs. Rasmussen, Sage Creek librarian, for making this possible for kids!

Monday, November 22, Sage Creek Kindergarteners transformed themselves into little Pilgrims and Native Americans. Under the direction of teachers, Michelle Porter, Dayna Tanner and Cami Thomas students learned about the first Thanksgiving by acting out the feast itself. Special thanks to the many room mothers who volunteered their time and feastables for the activity. Happy Thanksgiving from Sage Creek Kinder students!
