Thanks to Mrs. Rasmussen, Sage Creek's media coordinator, for providing students of all ages the opportunity to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2nd by performing one of his most famous books, "Horton Hears A Who", during their library time that week. These students in Mrs. Robbins fourth grade class were especially awesome! Sage Creek is so grateful to have a librarian who makes the library a fun place to be.

Ronald McDonald visited the students of Sage Creek Elementary on Friday to remind them that part of being a friend is to stop bullying. Ronald sang songs and interacted with the kids to help them connect with important friendship concepts. He gave them tips on what to do when they see a bully and how to help one another stop bullying from happening. Ronald created a poster with the reminders to Be A Friend, Cooperate, Get Out and Play and DON'T BULLY! Many students commented that this was the most fun assembly they have ever been to. Thanks Ronald!!!
