Constitution Day Assembly

Submitted by anthony.bowden on

The Dragons had an awesome assembly for Constitution Day.  The assembly started off with Mrs. Burr sharing the Preamble and talking about the Constitution.   The BYU ROTC then presented the colors and led the students in the Pledge of Allegiance.  Mr. Curtis a third grade teacher sang the Star Spangled Banner while the chime choir played America the Beautiful.   It was a very patriotic morning.  The students loved ending a fantastic assembly by singing and dancing to Wave Your Flag this year’s school song.

To remember the victims and families of 9-11, Mrs. Foote's class made a memory quilt.  They drew pictures of the Twin Towers, United States flags, our wonderful military, fire fighters, police officers, and fire fighters.  We want them to know we appreciate the sacrifices that have been made and we will not forget.
