We are thrilled to announce that our talented 5th graders have made us proud by advancing to the Central Utah STEM Fair (CUSF) after showcasing their incredible projects at the District level on Thursday, February 20th.
Out of all the aspiring young scientists, 16 of our students will be moving forward to the regional competition! The CUSF is an esteemed event affiliated with the Society for Science & The Publicās International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF), aimed at inspiring students by providing a platform to present their classroom learnings alongside their unique interests and discoveries.
This prestigious fair is open to students from grades 5 to 12 within the boundaries of Alpine, Jordan, Nebo, Provo, and Wasatch school districts. Students from charter, private schools, and home-schooled within these areas are also eligible. Each year, around 900 students advance to compete at CUSF as Finalists, showcasing amazing talent and innovation.
Our 5th graders will compete in the Elementary Division, where they will have the opportunity to earn Category Awards, Special Awards, and Grand Awards. Let's cheer them on as they represent Sage Creek Elementary with creativity and enthusiasm!
