A hearty congratulations to this week's Hansen's Heroes! Way to go, boys and girls!
We appreciate the United Way who partnered the Utah County Commissioner's offices with our school to repaint our hopscotch and US map on the playground. It was part of United Way's Day of Caring, a state-wide iniative on Sept 13, 2018. Students loved the new look!
Our first group of Hansen's Heroes are a prime example of how excellant the students are here at Sage Creek!

Mrs. Evans 6th grade class asked this question while learning the Scientfic Method and even got to find out. If you have one of these students ask them, "So how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?"
Students in Mrs. August's 4th grade class are learning how to order multi-digit numbers from least to greatest and from greatest to least. Each student was given a number between 1000 and 6000. outside their classroom was a chalk line on the sidewalk, numbered 1000 at one end and 6000 at the other end. The students had to find where their number was located on the number line and stand at that position. Then they all worked together to determine if they were in the right order. #humannumberline #SCDragons #Fireduptolearn
Mrs. Richards 4th grade class had a blast getting to race their classroom pet turtles for a reward. Man are those turtles fast! Whoever said, "slow as a turtle" has never met these speedy guys.
