Utah Opera Entertains Sage Creek Students

Sage Creek Elementary students were treated to an incredible vocal learning experience with members of the Utah Opera during an assembly on Monday. Students learned that an Opera is a story done entirely by singing and that it involves a soprano, a mezzo soprano, a tenor and a baritone. Members of the Opera demonstrated each vocal type as well as the difference between an aria, a duet, a trio, and a tutti. Students also had time to ask some interesting questions and were captivated by the very animated and fun personalities of these talented performers. Everyone left this assembly having learned something they hadn't known before. Thank you Utah Opera for taking the time to care about kids!
