Grandma Jane (our kindergarten helper) turned 90 on Monday! She celebrated by skydiving with her grandchildren! We loved celebrating with her in kindergarten! 90 is a pretty special b-day and we LOVED counting to 90 to celebrate Grandma Jane!
It was also Mr. Grotegut's birthday today! He helps keep our school looking great and we sure appreciate him!

Congratulations to the Dragons of the Week (Sept. 12-16)!
We had a GREAT assembly today with Cosmo and BYU Athletes! We learned about becoming "Cougar Built" by being respectful, asking for help, eating healthy, and limiting screen time. The best part was watching the amazing dunks...especially from Cosmo! Check out the video on our Instagram Story (SageCreekElementary). You can also view the video compilation Ms. Carter made here:
Ms. Fu's 2nd grade class celebrated the Chinese Traditional Festival, Mooncake Day, by making paper lanterns and paper bunnies.
"The Mid-autumn Festival (or Zhong Qiu Jie in Mandarin), also known as the Mooncake Festival, falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. It is called the Mid-autumn Festival because the 15th day is the middle of a month, and the eighth lunar month is in the middle of autumn" (https://eresources.nlb.gov.sg/infopedia/articles/SIP_804_2005-01-13.html).
Ms. Orton's class had the most students wearing BLUE/Sage Creek Shirt on Friday, our Spirit Day! Mr. Johnson delivered SAGE THE DRAGON to her class! Congratulations to Ms. Orton and her amazing students!
