Mrs. Bean Visits Kindergarten

Submitted by shavon.mousser on

Mrs. Bean is Nebo School District's Drama Curriculum Specialist.  She visited Mrs. Mousser's Kindergarten with her puppet, Mavis!  Mavis helped the children learn about personal space (an important skill in kindergarten).  We read the book, "Don't Hug Doug" and learned the importance of asking before we hug someone.  Thank you for visiting our classroom, Mrs. Bean!

Kindergartners are 100 Days Smarter

Submitted by shavon.mousser on

Kindergartners celebrated the 100th day of school today!  They wrote about what they might be like when they are 100 (filtered 100-year-old picture included), made Froot Loop 100 necklaces, counted 100 treats by 10's, read a "Count to 100" book, played Race to 100" math game, " and made 100 Day Crowns.  Ms. Orton's class enjoyed doing many of these activities with glow-in-the dark FUN!  It was a great day to be a DRAGON!
