Second grade students have been learning about Ancient Asian Civilizations in CKLA (Literacy).  Ms. Ren is from Shaanxi Province, home of the famous Terra-Cotta Warriors and shared her abundant knowledge of this beautiful area.  We are so grateful for our amazing DLI teachers!

Congratulations to our Dragons of the Week (Sept. 16-20)!

Ms. Morrow's students have been learning about the human body and observed the bones in their hand and created an “x-ray” using construction paper and oil! 

Ms.  Wong's 5th graders celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival in class. 

A big thank you to Kimber’s mom (Julie Rawle) and Aunt (Rachel Rawle) for making this celebration special. 

Rachel presented an adorable shadow puppet show, which the students absolutely loved. They also prepared mini brownie "mooncakes" (brownies pressed into mooncake shapes), which were a hit!

Thank you again for making this event so memorable for our students.
