Kindergartners at Sage Creek put on an adorable Halloween performance! Not only was this perfromace so cute, it also aligned beautifully with the Kindergarten standards for science (light/shadows/dark), and art (music, visual art, and drama). It was one Spooky Amazing show! Thanks Mrs. Mousser and Ms. Orton for being incredible teachers!
The Mapleton Fire Station hosted a fantastic field trip for Sage Creek 2nd Graders. We enjoyed presentations from EMTs, police officers, and firefighters. Students learned both what these professionals do to keep us safe as well as what they can do to keep themselves and their families safe. Some tips they shared were to always keep your doors locked even if you are home and to have an outside meeting point that everyone in your family knows. Exploring the inside of both a fire truck and an ambulance were highlights of the day for many students! We send a big thank you to all of the Mapleton Fire Station employees!
WOW! Only one term in and we have a bookworm bingo champ already! Great job Jane Felt for being such a fantastic reader!
Sage Creek students were so fortunate to listen to the wonderful musical stylings of a Mariachi band. Students learned about the different instruments and the incredible culture that the Mariachi band comes from.
You know you have an awesome principal when they are willing to roll up their sleeves on a busy day in the cafeteria and help get lunch to everyone! Thanks for being the coolest principal ever!
Great job to this weeks Hansen's Heroes! You are rockstars!
Representatives from our student council attended the Student Council Conference held at BYU on Oct 16. They went to workshops and learned the importance of being good examples. They also met hundreds of students from across the state. The students and Mr. Stewart, their chaperone, had a wonderful day and represented Sage Creek very well!
