What an honor it was to have our very own Sage Creek Veteran heroes pictures with us this week. Thank you everyone who shared their loved ones with us, so we could realize how truly lucky we are to have so many heroes. Thank you Veterans for your service!
Shout out to this awesome group of students who have shown how incredible they truly are!
Candy Sorensen is the definition of what a teacher truly is. Every student who walks in her room knows they are loved and cared for. She has been a teacher for 42 years, teaching hundreds of children. She has expressed time and time again that she has loved every minute of it. She has mastered the skill of having high expectations for students while being kind, supportive and loving. She pushes her students to be the best they can be and shows them how capable and incredible they are. Sage Creek is certainly very lucky to have such a phenomenal teacher, colleague, and friend. Mrs. Sorensen always has a smile on her face and is loved by everyone she meets. Congratulations to this year’s Crystal Apple recipient-- Candy Sorensen.
In accordance with Governor Herbert's mandates, our early-morning orchestra has been cancelled and will resume on Mon, Nov 30.
Veterans Day is approaching, and here at Sage Creek we want to honor the brave men and women who have fought for this incredible country. Monday November 9th, we would like everyone to bring a picture of someone they are close to that has served in the military (parent, grandparent, great grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle, cousin, etc.). We are going to hang all of these pictures up on our Hall of Heroes. Please send copies of a picture you have. Please take the picture to Mrs. Richards or Mrs. Rae. We can't wait to see all of our heroes!
Huge shout out to this group of Dragons of the Week! They have worked hard and deserve to be recognized for all of their efforts!
