Below is our newsletter for January! Enjoy! 

Our teachers selected two students from each class to be our Kind Kids of the Quarter for Term 2. "Being Inclusive" has been our focus during this term.  "I am Needed" is the focus for Term 3.  Our final focus for the year (Term 4) will be, "I am Determined". Each term, Principal Youd introduces the attribute for the quarter during the "Principal’s Read Aloud" and then students spend the entire term strengthening that attribute. Students nominated for the quarterly award receive a certificate, a swag bag with Sage Creek items, and a surprise yard sign at their house! New Kind Kids of the Quarter will be selected each term. 

Congratulations to our Dragons of the Week (Dec. 11-15)!

Sinterklaas visited Mrs Hartung's class! They've been learning about holidays around the world and loved learning about the Netherlands.

If you would like to have your incoming first grader apply for the Chinese DLI program,  applications are open!! If Sage Creek is not your boundary school, you will need to apply for Open Enrollment through the district here.  Early enrollment ends February 2nd. You can apply for the DLI program here.  Spread the word to your neighbors and friends! Find more information about DLI here.
