Pumpkin Observation

Submitted by jane.orton on

Kindergarteners (with help from 5th graders) learn all about pumpkins! Each kindergartener got a pumpkin from their field trip. They spent time learning how to measure the height, weight and circumference of their pumpkin.

Halloween Parade

Submitted by michael.johnson on

We love celebrating Halloween at school. This year we will celebrate on Friday, Oct. 29. Students may dress up, but Halloween weapons (real or fake) are not permitted at school.  We also ask that students avoid gory or violent costumes as it upsets our younger students. We will have a school parade beginning at 9:30. We will not parade through the gym, but we will parade outside. If you would like to see all the cute costumes, please be out back around 9:15 or any grassy area around the school. We will walk around the south side of the building and re-enter the school through the same location. Please leave the sidewalk clear for the parade

If it is raining we will not be able to have the parade. Students will still have fun activities in their individual classrooms.

Fifth Grade Student Council

Submitted by michael.johnson on

We are so excited to introduce our new fifth grade student council for the 2021-2022 school-year.  These amazing leaders were chosen among their peers and among the faculty to serve as representatives for Sage Creek.  They recently attended a leadership conference at BYU that was hosted by the Utah Association of Elementary School Principals.  These wonderful leaders have several responsibilities as they serve on the council:  Morning announcements, helping the PTA during ribbon weeks, promoting spirit days, and above all they are great examples to the entire student body.  Congratulations!

Bucket Fillers

Submitted by michael.johnson on

We are working on filling buckets at Sage Creek Elementary by being kind, sharing with others, working hard, saying I'm sorry, being positive, and including others.
