3rd Grade Spelling Bee

Submitted by makenna.taylor on

Wow! Does Sage Creek have some incredible spellers! 3rd grade had individual class spelling bees and than the top 5 spellers from each class moved on to the 3rd grade spelling bee. There were several rounds of intense spelling. Each and every one of the students worked very hard studying. Their teachers and principal are very proud of them!

If I Were the Principal

In first grade, students wrote an essay on the topic of "If I were the principal."  Lily Prewitt seemed to capture the day well as she writes, "If I were Mis Hansen one day I wood do the  reports.  And let teachers know that they are speshll.  I wood let them sleep in."  Great  advice, Lily!  You're hired!

Sage Creek Earns Energy Star Rating (again!)

Submitted by alison.hansen on

We are proud to announce that our school has earned the Energy Star Rating again this year.  ENERGY STAR certified buildings and plants use, on average, 35 percent less energy than similar buildings nationwide. The cost savings can be substantial.   For more than 20 years, the US Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR program has identified the most energy-efficient products, buildings, plants, and new homes – all based on the latest government-backed standards.  Congratulations, Sage Creek!
